I hadn’t expected to write these words. Indeed, when I began my career as an author it wouldn’t have been possible. Somehow it seems a little intrusive to go banging on about me and my books, like a slightly frightening stranger met on a bus. But here you are; so I suppose that means you would like to know something about me or my books. Or you’ve just blundered onto this page, the way that one does. In either case, WELCOME.
